Throughout this year I have learned many ways to incorporate technology into my future career as an education major. During this semester the Coronavirus had a huge impact on many learning opportunities, this led for many schools throughout America to incorporate hybrid or just online learning. This course has shown me the importance of the use of technology and giving me many options in the future to incorporate technology within my future classroom. One of the many learning strategies I have learned is using a google classroom or bitmoji classroom. This gives me the opportunity to have everything available for my future students. Using these sites allows for the students to have access to all the materials they need. These sites also allow for integration with other apps and websites. Teachers have the ability to easily share work, collect and grade the work the students have completed. Parents will also have the access to these sites allowing for them to be updated  on what their children are learning. Flexibility is also allowed within online learning, allowing the students to have to learn time management. When assignments are posted online students have the opportunity to see what’s due and figure out when they would like to complete the assignments. Online learning allows students to reach more opportunities and knowledge. Many textbooks are expensive and out of date, but within the access to technology students are provided with up to date information and have the ability for many different learning tools. Many benefits come from the use of technology in a classroom setting, it helps improve engagement, encourages individual learning, benefits the teacher, offers collaboration and overall students will gain useful life skills through technology. This course has taught me many ways to use technology in my future career as an educator and I am very excited to use the tools I have learned in this class work within my very own classroom.
